National Directors

TelferYoung Ltd's Board of Directors is currently as follows:

B.Com, Fellow Chartered Accountant of NZ,
Advanced Management Programme Harvard Business School

John is a professional director who began his career as an accountant. He has had corporate experience in executive positions with a wide variety of companies including the NZ Dairy Group where he was their Group General Manager, Finance and subsequently, Chief Executive Officer. He has also been involved in the affairs of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants, including being their Executive Director from 1997-2002, and was awarded the "Valued Contribution to the Profession" Award in October 2002.

Currently John is chairman of Tainui Group Holdings Limited, Deputy Chairman of NIWA and a director of Tower Group and Solid Energy. He was appointed Chairman of the TelferYoung Group of Companies in February 2006.
