Chris has had many years experience valuing all classes of urban property. He currently specialises in consultancy and valuation of CBD commercial and industrial property, with significant focus on specialised assets including airports, port facilities and the health sector. Chris also has considerable experience as an expert witness, an arbitrator and mediating disputes. Chris is a member of the Land Valuation Tribunal. He acts as a property advisor to many national clients and local investors. Chris is the Past President of the Property Institute of New Zealand.

Mark has had many years valuation experience in Canterbury, undertaking a variety of both urban and rural work. Urban work has been mostly mixed residential. His specialist area is rural work. This has included a wide variety of work types, such as peripheral lifestyle properties, subdivisible blocks, horticultural units, traditional farms and specialist livestock properties.

Mark has had over 25 years experience valuing in Christchurch and throughout the South Island in all classes of urban property. He specialises in the valuation of commercial and industrial investment property, and high-priced residential property. Mark also has expertise in insurance valuation, apartment developments, lease consultancy and arbitration, and consultancy on Resource Management Act matters relative to the effect on value caused by non conforming activities.

John has had 30 years experience as a registered valuer throughout the South Island. He specialises in the valuation of commercial and industrial investment property, motels and childcare facilities. His work is primarily within the commercial sector. He also has significant experience in residential subdivision consultancy, ground rental assessments, lease consultancy and high priced residential and lifestyle properties.

Victoria has considerable experience valuing in Canterbury, undertaking a variety of urban property work. Her main areas of expertise are local government, and telecommunication facilities, which was gained through her previous employment with Christchurch City Council. In addition to this Victoria has expertise in sub-divisions, feasibility studies, commercial and industrial valuation, and all classes of residential property.

Martin worked during his University breaks for TY Canterbury and joined as a permanent staff member in July 2009. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in valuation and property management at Lincoln University and is currently assisting in the residential and commercial sector, working towards registration. His role includes assisting in a diverse range of valuation work for market, insurance, rental and telecommunication purposes.

Hayden joined TelferYoung in 2011, having previously worked for another Christchurch valuation company since 2006. Hayden undertakes work in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors throughout the Canterbury region.
