He is dual qualified and registered as a valuer, property manager and property consultant. Ian has been actively involved in the formation of TelferYoung as the merger and foundation chairman.

Originally from Palmerston North, he graduated from Massey University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, majoring in Valuation & Property Management. He was registered as an urban valuer in 2008.
