Ian has been involved in property since 1976 and completed the NZIV Professional Examination in 1983, becoming registered in 1986 and joining TelferYoung (Taranaki) in June 2002. A broad valuation and property management background, together with direct experience in both local and central government property issues, assists with his current roll of commercial and industrial valuation and general consultancy work.

Mike graduated from Massey University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, specialising in valuation and property management, and was also awarded the Challenge Property prize. Working from New Plymouth since 1983, he gained Taranaki-wide experience before commencing private practice in 1987. Specialising in the urban sphere including residential, commercial and industrial properties, Mike has experience in a wide range of property valuation and consultancy, including hotels and motels. He has also undertaken plant, equipment and chattel valuations for a variety of business types throughout Taranaki.

Adam worked in the building industry for 15 years and is a qualified carpenter. Following overseas building experience he returned to New Zealand and attended Auckland University, graduating with a Bachelor of Property degree in 2000. His subsequent valuation experience has been mainly in West Auckland, specialising in residential and lifestyle properties prior to joining TelferYoung (Taranaki) Limited in 2005. Since moving to New Plymouth, Adam has worked largely in the South Taranaki area, covering the Hawera urban area and townships south of the mountain with particular emphasis on residential property and small rural holdings.

Monique has recently returned to New Plymouth after completing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Lincoln University, majoring in valuation and property management. She is currently assisting in the residential and commercial sector, working towards registration. Her role includes assisting in a diverse range of valuation work for market, insurance and rental purposes.

John has been involved with the property industry since 1966, and his vast experience and expertise has built a national reputation in the valuation and consultancy professions, and in the wider field of professional dispute resolution. He is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator with a nationwide practice and is Chair of the National Panel of Conciliators for Sharemilking under the 2001 Order in Council.
Specialist expertise has been developed in land compensation issues with continuing involvement in this field. He also maintains registration as a primary industry consultant, in addition to being involved in the valuation of a wide range of rural property. John has a particular interest and expertise in land tenure and rural ground leases, as well as being advisor to a number of farming concerns.
