Nik Butler

Nik has been practicing for over 25 years in a valuation and property advisory capacity. He has dual urban and rural qualifications and has extensive experience in the markets of Mid-Canterbury, Christchurch and North Canterbury. He graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Valuation and Property Management) and is a Registered Valuer, a Senior Member of the Property Institute of New Zealand (SPINZ) and an Associate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers (ANZIV).

He specialises in the urban, lifestyle and rural markets. This encompasses the likes of market valuations (commercial, residential and rural), rent reviews, compensation and insurance assessments.

Nik lives on a lifestyle property in Sefton, North Canterbury. His wife Amanda works at North Canterbury Vets in Amberley while his two young children are at Sefton School (where Nik is on the Board of Trustees and Amanda is on the PTA). He helps coach the Ashley U9’s ‘Green Machine’ rugby team and enjoys supporting the mighty Sefton ‘Shooting Stars’ year 3 and 4 netball team.
