Sue Lyn Chan

BACKGROUND

Sue Lyn completed an Architecture degree and worked as a Graduate Architect before pursuing post-graduate study in Valuations. The exposure to developers and other consultants within the property industry while training in an architectural firm sparked an interest in the more “practical” side of buildings and lead to a pursuit of valuation as a career. 

Originally from Malaysia, she spent her university years between New Zealand, England and Scotland. She moved to Rotorua from Wellington to join the TelferYoung team as an Urban Graduate in 2018.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

In her free time, Sue Lyn enjoys reading, embroidering, tending to her house plants and catching up with friends. She loves travelling and exploring new cultures with travelling the globe being on her bucket list.
