Susie Penrose

BACKGROUND

Susie joined TelferYoung (Hawkes Bay) Limited in 2009 after completing her Bachelor of Business Studies (Valuation and Property Management) degree at Massey University. She gained Registration in 2014 and was advanced to an Associate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers (ANZIV) in 2017.

Susie was born and bred in Hawkes Bay and has developed good connections with a range of clients and professionals.

She became a Director of TelferYoung in 2016 and became Managing Director in January 2020.

SPECIALISATION

Susie specialises in the commercial/industrial and accommodation sectors but carries out a range of other work including residential and client advisory work. She is an active member of the profession; previously sitting on the Property Institute of New Zealand Board as the Central Representative and she also sits on the TelferYoung Board.

Susie’s reports are accepted by all main banks within New Zealand.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Susie was the recipient of the Property Institute of New Zealand’s Young property Professional of the Year Award in June 2018, along with the TelferYoung Young Valuer of the Year Award in 2016.
