Trevor Walker

BACKGROUND

Trevor is a Director of TelferYoung (Auckland) Limited and a past Chairman of the TelferYoung Group. He has 35 years experience as a Registered Valuer with extensive experience over a wide range of property asset classes throughout the Auckland region.

He has acted as an advisor to Government organisations local authorities. His focuses on varying property types including commercial, industrial, subdivision land, residential, market research, feasibility studies and property advisory work. Valuations include rental reviews, mortgage, financial reporting, leasehold and insurance assessments.

SPECIALISATION

Trevor specialises in compensation and litigation and has experience as an expert witness in the High Court, Land Valuation Tribunal, Environment Court and as an arbitrator. He has experience in valuations of contaminated land, heritage buildings, land easements, landlocked land, sub strata interests and impact assessments for specialised uses. He has given presentations on property related issues at conferences and has been a guest lecturer at university.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Trevor has three children that keep him entertained. He enjoys the outdoors whenever he can and is keen on boating, scuba diving, fishing, snow skiing and travel.
